This barn window frame conversion to mirror is just amazing!
It was taken from an old barn in Eastern Europe.
It’s about 80 years old and made from a very heavy cast iron frame with a simple and elegant arched top. It can swivel horizontally. Why?
Well, it used to be a window.
We took some time removing the old paint and rust, coated it with a mix of linseed oil and beeswax to preserve the metal, then installed these thick high-quality mirrors.
It’s certainly a statement and you won’t find this one a shelf at IKEA. It turned out so well it hurts to sell it.
