This beautiful pair of chairs have been FULLY RESTORED, they are absolutely stunning and covered with a very soft striking midnight blue coloured Italian made velvet. It has a solid wooden well-crafted frame made from strong and warm coloured oak and walnut wood with a molded wooden well shaped back rest.
These are totally Iconic vintage 60s chairs, featuring solid Oak and Walnut structure and delightful pin dancette legs and a bentwood back.
These chairs where produced in the former Czechoslovakia in the early 60s by the well-respected designer Tatra. They are very beautiful chairs, eye-catching and excellent statement and collector pieces. The condition of construction is solid, with a flawless timber frame.
The chairs have been totally refurbished. The wood has been treated sanded, varnished and protected. The seats have been re-foamed and re-covered and are like new.
The most striking thing about this particular set of Tatras is the stunning wooden back rest, the pattern and colours of the wood are really eye-catching and beautiful.
